This highly-anticipated new television series hosted by Rocsi Diaz will showcase the vocal prowess of contestants singing live, backstage while the avatar they created will take centre stage in front of the judges and a live audience. The show features a star studded judge panel – will.i.am, Nick Lachey, Alanis Morissette and Grimes.

From impressive vocals to the use of cutting-edge technology and a taste of novelty, there’s just so much to look forward to.

For whatever reason it is that held these amazing singers back from performing in the past, this show allows them to share their talent with audiences around the world behind their very own avatar – an alter ego that is uniquely them.

Actually the concept of having an alter ego as a singer has been around – just not portrayed through such technology. Stars like Beyoncé and Eminem have alter egos too – Sasha Fierce and Slim Shady, musical expression through a different persona. I’m hoping that if there’s another season, they could be invited as judges. Fingers crossed!
