No older than 49 years and 2 months (in November 2026), counted from September 1977, when the series came out. It can be younger: the plate only says when the number came out.

When does an EG carโ€™s COE end?

What comes after EG?

EH, which came out in March 1978, then EJ in October 1978. Before EG came EF (December 1976).
