What year is an SDF car plate?
The SDF series came out in August 2000. It was the newest series for 2 months, until SDG in October 2000. So a car with an SDF plate was registered in August 2000 or later: a number can be bid for after its series opens, or kept from an older car, so the car can be newer than its plate, never older.
How old is a car with an SDF plate?
No older than 26 years and 3 months (in November 2026), counted from August 2000, when the series came out. It can be younger: the plate only says when the number came out.
When does an SDF carโs COE end?
A COE lasts 10 years from registration, so a car registered in August 2000, when the series came out, had its first COE run to about August 2010; one registered later, later still.
