What year is an SDH car plate?
The SDH series came out in December 2000. It was the newest series for 2 months, until SDJ in February 2001. So a car with an SDH plate was registered in December 2000 or later: a number can be bid for after its series opens, or kept from an older car, so the car can be newer than its plate, never older.
How old is a car with an SDH plate?
No older than 25 years and 11 months (in November 2026), counted from December 2000, when the series came out. It can be younger: the plate only says when the number came out.
When does an SDH carโs COE end?
A COE lasts 10 years from registration, so a car registered in December 2000, when the series came out, had its first COE run to about December 2010; one registered later, later still.
