What year is an SCZ car plate?
The SCZ series came out in October 1999. It was the newest series for 2 months, until SDA in December 1999. So a car with an SCZ plate was registered in October 1999 or later: a number can be bid for after its series opens, or kept from an older car, so the car can be newer than its plate, never older.
How old is a car with an SCZ plate?
No older than 27 years and 1 month (in November 2026), counted from October 1999, when the series came out. It can be younger: the plate only says when the number came out.
When does an SCZ carโs COE end?
A COE lasts 10 years from registration, so a car registered in October 1999, when the series came out, had its first COE run to about October 2009; one registered later, later still.
